North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to work on a per diem basis in our Tupelo, Mississippi location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services to patients, including modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrotherapy, as well as therapeutic exercise and gait training.
- Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans.
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Mississippi.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in physical therapy and patient care.
