North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiation Oncology department.

• Verify treatment plans and ensure accuracy of immobilization, laser lines, marks, and treatment parameters
• Deliver radiation treatments to patients, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines
• Collaborate with physicists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless treatment delivery
• Perform daily equipment warm-ups, weekly or bi-weekly maintenance, and quality control checks
• Assist with simulation procedures, including patient set-ups, designing and fabricating patient immobilization and shielding devices, and CT set-ups when necessary
• Maintain accurate and complete capture of procedure and charges daily

• Associate's Degree of Applied Science or certificate in Radiological Technology with a certificate in Radiation Therapy Technology
• Registration and Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists in the specific discipline of Radiation Therapy
• Maintain licensure by the State of Mississippi
• Maintain CPR Certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of serving adult and geriatric population
