Job Summary

The Woodruff Arts Center is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Backstage Hospitality Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of artist hospitality services for concerts and events at Symphony Hall LIVE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign and manage artist dressing rooms, ensuring timely setup and preparation for each show
  • Purchase and coordinate hospitality rider items, including food and beverages, in advance of each event
  • Prepare and maintain artist dressing rooms, including setting up hospitality items and ensuring a clean and comfortable environment
  • Coordinate with the Artist's Touring Party to ensure their needs are met throughout the event
  • Assist with event setup and teardown, including loading and unloading equipment and supplies
  • Maintain accurate records of event details, including artist information, event schedules, and hospitality requests
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in hospitality or events preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
