This is a key leadership position that will direct the finance team to build out the FP&A function. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of financial planning and analysis strategies, as well as overseeing the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Directing the finance team to build out the FP&A function, including developing and implementing financial planning and analysis strategies.
- Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting processes, including preparing and presenting reports for board meetings, investor reporting, and internal communications.
- Developing and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) to align with company goals.
- Partnering with department leaders to review strategies and initiatives based on budgets.
- Selecting, managing, and evaluating a team of professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and at least 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, including management experience. The candidate should have a strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis procedures, as well as solid business acumen and customer-service focus. The candidate should also be able to facilitate strong relationships across all levels of the organization, and be able to work through ambiguity and maintain composure in a variety of situations.
