  • Has a passion for selling heavy machinery and equipment, including construction or agricultural machinery such as dozers, cranes, or tractors, as well as military-grade equipment like MRAP vehicles or tanks. Experience in Aircraft and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) sales is also beneficial.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of successful experience in outside sales is preferred. Familiarity with equipment is a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to undertake extensive overnight travel is essential.
  • Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Exceptional communication and information processing abilities are required.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including spreadsheets and word processing, is necessary.

The job level may be adjusted at the time of hire if the candidate qualifies for a more advanced position within the career path.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate potential applications of company products and/or services, offering tailored solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct research and present findings that demonstrate the cost benefits of acquiring Altec products or services to prospective clients.
  • Provide technical training to customers and relay their feedback for future product enhancements.
  • Utilize technical expertise regarding product offerings to support and enhance sales efforts.
