Lead Our Beverage Program

Bouchon Bistro - Coral Gables is seeking a talented Floor Head Sommelier to join our team. As a key member of our beverage program, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager and Beverage Director to create an exceptional wine experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Beverage Program: Align with the restaurant's and Chef Keller's philosophy, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Deliver Staff Training: Enhance knowledge and service standards through comprehensive training.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure work areas, equipment, cellars, and storerooms are clean and organized, following preventative maintenance protocols.
  • Compliance and Inventory Management: Monitor inventory, manage orders, and maintain budgeted levels, adjusting based on consumption and sales trends.
  • Lead the Beverage Team: Deliver exceptional guest experiences and address any needs or issues.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 Years of Service Experience: Proven track record in the industry.
  • Wine Certification: Advanced Sommelier Certification preferred.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Knowledge of POS micros, MS Excel, and MS Word.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Ability: Reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
