Job Title: Electrical Systems Technician

Cadrex is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical systems and components meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and assist with managing the production of engineering projects related to electrical systems.
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical issues for existing systems with an emphasis on harness connectivity and wire routing.
  • Review corrective action requests, inspection results, failure reports, customer documentation, and other areas as required.
  • Test and lead training on testing customer products with supplied test software.
  • Work with production teams investigating, troubleshooting product issues, advanced testing, and related areas.
  • Develop and review reports, documents, and tests, and adjust operations or activities as needed.
  • Assist QA with investigating customer questions and concerns as well as assembly line issues.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical proficiency in troubleshooting and the repair of electrical / mechanical machines and mechanisms.
  • Experience in the Gaming or Amusement industries.
  • Has a solid understanding of pinouts and harness related electrical systems.
  • Experience in a sheet metal manufacturing or assembly line environment.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, electrical drawings, and identify wires accurately.
  • Ability to perform electrical tests, read results and diagnose and repair electrical problems.
  • Understand and use wire terminators and connectors.
  • Basic PC skills with proficiency using MS office suite.
  • Experience using an ERP manufacturing system.
  • Ability to use eDrawings and SolidWorks a plus.
Education:
  • High school diploma.
  • Trade school certification/degree preferred.
Location:
  • Onsite.
Schedule:
  • M-Th 10 hour shift.
Work Environment:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
Physical Demands:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
