We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC and Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Great Kitchens Food Company, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our HVAC and electrical systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC and electrical systems, including planned maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure the safe operation of HVAC systems, particularly in high-risk areas such as production and freezer units.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical equipment, including motors, starters, relays, timers, panels, breakers, fuses, conduit, and wiring.
  • Read and interpret electrical control schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Provide rapid response to malfunctioning equipment and maintain proper logs and records of planned maintenance.
  • Inspect aerial lifts daily before use and adhere to established safety programs.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical and fire regulations and assist in the upkeep of the facility as directed by management.
  • Complete work orders for general building maintenance as needed and oversee outside support services on large projects involving Freon units.
  • Participate in Freon recovery and pump-down service on units and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a team environment.
  • Proactive in communicating and dealing with issues that arise.
  • Hard-working, dependable, safety and quality conscious.
  • Possesses good language skills (verbal and written) to interpret procedures, comprehend instructions, and communicate effectively with others.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work on elevated platforms safely for extended periods.
  • Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
