Clinical Professor of Medicine with Expertise in Multiple Myeloma

The Oregon Health & Science University seeks a highly qualified Faculty Physician to join our team in the Department of Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented physician to contribute to our mission of advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services to patients with multiple myeloma, including management of patients in the outpatient setting and attending on the inpatient bone marrow/hematologic malignancy service.
- Participate in research activities, including driving and participating in the research mission of the university, and collaborating with the transplant and cellular therapy programs.
- Engage in education and training of medical students and house staff, in accordance with assignments to the department by the Curriculum Committee and Chair.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the myeloma clinical and research programs, and foster collaborative relationships with referring physicians and organizations.
- Provide medical direction to CHM Data Managers and Nurse Coordinators, and participate in administrative committees and councils of OHSU as approved by the Chair and Division Head.
- MD, MD/PhD degree
- Licensed to practice medicine in Oregon
- Board certified in Internal Medicine
- Board eligible/certified in Hematology and/or Oncology
- Proven success working with multi-disciplinary teams
- History of training focused in oncology
- Success in obtaining extramural funds for clinical trials and/or basic science research (if applicable)
