Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Educator to join our team as an Adjunct Faculty member in the College of Naturopathic Medicine. As a Clinical Educator, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a clinical setting, providing them with hands-on experience and guidance in the field of naturopathic medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clinical education programs that meet the needs of our students and align with the College's mission and goals.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students in a clinical setting, including lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum and educational programs.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of naturopathic medicine and incorporate new knowledge and skills into teaching and clinical practice.

Requirements:

  • ND degree from a CNME-approved college or DC degree from a CCE-approved college.
  • Minimum of five years of successful full-time clinical practice or completion of 2 years of a CNME-accredited residency.
  • Ability to demonstrate competency commensurate with the full scope of their naturopathic and/or chiropractic medical license.
  • Course and curriculum design experience is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with NUNM policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of current trends in clinical pedagogy and curriculum development.
  • Knowledge of instructional discipline to a depth and breadth appropriate to the assignment.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including students, faculty, and staff.
