Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality instruction and mentorship to students in clinical settings, ensuring they meet all educational objectives.
  • Manage a diverse patient base to provide students with a comprehensive learning experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain a high level of expertise.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assess student performance, and improve clinical education programs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching and clinical skills.

Requirements:

  • ND degree from a CNME-approved college or DC degree from a CCE-approved college.
  • Minimum of five years of successful full-time clinical practice or completion of a CNME-accredited residency.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical pedagogy, curriculum development, and instructional design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate medical education/residency experience.
  • Course and curriculum design experience.
  • Familiarity with NUNM policies and procedures.
