Infrastructure Deployment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Deployment Engineer to join our team within Corporate Infrastructure Services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of infrastructure hardware, configuration, and network connectivity across various delivery projects, primarily focused on corporate offices.
This role will involve close collaboration with internal customers and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution in conjunction with Technical Program Managers.
Our ideal candidate will be highly autonomous, detail-oriented, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and have experience in supporting and deploying large-scale, enterprise-class networks.
They will be proficient in all aspects of installation and troubleshooting of infrastructure hardware, software, and connectivity, combined with a proven project delivery methodology.
This position will work with minimal supervision to drive and deliver the installation of our infrastructure services for Amazonians and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our infrastructure deployments as we expand.
Infrastructure Deployment Engineers are expected to work with established best practices to refine operational procedures, develop new tooling, and think proactively and innovatively.
The ability to work in an ambiguous, collaborative environment is essential for success.
Basic Qualifications
BS in a STEM area, preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science, may be coupled with certifications to include CCNA, JNCIA, and industry experience.
2+ years of experience as a network engineer and deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment with hands-on experience with physical infrastructure installations, including hardware integration, racking, and cabling.
2+ years' experience in at least one infrastructure tech domain (e.g., networking, storage, server, OS Windows/Linux platforms).
2+ years' experience with project management at an enterprise level.
Ability to work in a 24/7 environment.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years' hands-on experience with Cisco routers/switches/firewalls.
Experience working with data and telecom carriers to procure, deliver, and activate network circuits.
Experience administering, deploying, or supporting Aruba wireless network equipment.
Demonstrated track record dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $77,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $187,500/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
