We are seeking a highly skilled Track Maintenance Technology Specialist to join our team at Keeneland Association. This role is responsible for maintaining track surface documentation, performing testing and measurements, and ensuring the upkeep of equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and document track surface composition and depth, using GPS and other tools as necessary.
- Document all maintenance activities and provide reports to management.
- Maintain equipment documentation and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
- Perform clerical duties, including inventory management and filing.
- Order supplies and materials for track maintenance.
- Prepare department budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Create schedules and manage payroll.
To be successful in this role, you will need a four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. A driver's license and Kentucky Horse Racing Commission License are also required.
This position requires frequent sitting, occasional walking, and regular lifting of up to 100 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced and may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and outside weather conditions.
