Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and assessments
• Fit and dispense hearing aids to clients
• Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences
• Provide education and support to clients on the use and maintenance of hearing aids
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Audiology or a related field
• State licensure or certification as a Hearing Aid Specialist
• Previous experience in conducting hearing evaluations and fitting hearing aids
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing the practice of hearing aid dispensing
• Proficiency in using audiometric equipment and software for hearing testing and hearing aid programming
Physical Guidelines:
• Ability to move, traverse, and position self for up to eight hours per day
• Manual dexterity and articulate speech
• Spatial perception and ability to negotiate steps
