Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate user requirements, operational concepts, and overarching system architectures to create comprehensive system requirements specifications.
- Lead design and development initiatives while analyzing system requirements.
- Assist users in defining their needs, propose alternative solutions, and conduct feasibility assessments.
- Provide technical guidance for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
- Incorporate new strategies, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
- Generate technical documentation, including system architecture and design documentation.
- Oversee system development and implementation planning through the preparation of engineering management plans and integration/test plans.
- Engage with government representatives regarding technical considerations and associated challenges.
- Ensure the technical integrity of all work performed and deliverables related to the Systems Engineering domain.
- Communicate effectively with program personnel, government stakeholders, and senior management.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Enterprise IT systems and projects.
- Experience managing and executing integration operations and maintenance activities across multiple system domains with varying security classifications and diverse user groups.
Educational Background:
- Security + CE Certification is mandatory.
- A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
- A total of fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required, with at least one (1) year of experience in the Federal Government.
Security Clearance: This position requires an active Security Clearance with an appropriate Polygraph.
