About the Role:

As a CBRE Utilities Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining infrastructure in the Central Utilities Plant for a 24/7 pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. You will need to effectively respond and communicate to key customers/system owners and understand all aspects of equipment operation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot problems as they occur on chillers, cooling towers, RO systems, steam boilers, hot water boilers, air compressors, fire riser rooms, life safety systems, and other equipment in the Central Utility Plant as required.
  • Execute preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and properly document in the client CMMS system.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Maintain personal training plan at 100% to ensure compliance with all aspects of HS&E, Quality and Regulatory Agencies.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge in the following: chillers, cooling towers, RO System, Deaerator, Steam Boilers, Hot Water Boilers, Air Compressors, Boiler Water Chemistry, Fire Water Loop Distribution.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of four years of related experience and/or trade school training.
  • Utilities, maintenance and/or operations background with basic computer skills and CMMS experience would be beneficial.
