Faculty Member

We are seeking a highly qualified Faculty Member to join our team at the College of Central Florida. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and guiding students in the Hospitality program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality course content and curriculum in the Hospitality field.
- Maintain expertise in teaching pedagogy and stay current with industry developments.
- Participate in enrollment management activities and share professional expertise with colleagues and students.
- Support student activities, including course and career guidance, and foster a love of learning.
- Share professional ideas and expertise with the community and private agencies.
- Assist in the development and planning of the departmental college course schedule.
- Utilize technology in teaching and communicating with students.
- Serve as lead faculty, program manager/department chair, and serve on committees as needed.
- Master's degree in Hospitality or a related field, or a master's degree with a concentration in Hospitality (minimum 18 graduate semester hours in Hospitality).
- 5 years of experience in the Hospitality field.
- Commitment to providing instruction for a diverse student population.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral communication, and writing skills.
- Knowledge of learning and assessment theories and methods, and the relationship to teaching pedagogy.
- High level of technical skills and subject matter knowledge in the Hospitality discipline.
- Evidence of initiative, resourcefulness, and adaptability.
