Adjunct Faculty, HVAC Specialist

Job Summary:
Pensacola State College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach in the HVAC program. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing students in the principles and practices of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach occupational skills and knowledge to provide students with the competence to become skilled in the field and to secure a job in their new career.
- Demonstrate occupational materials, tools, equipment, and processes using standard or instructor-prepared instructional aides.
- Instruct students in the appropriate safety precautions and the safe operation and use of tools and equipment.
- Control the storage, maintenance, and use of materials and property to prevent loss or abuse.
- Establish and maintain standards of student conduct to provide an orderly, safe, and productive environment in an activity-type classroom.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from a regionally accredited institution with an HVAC Certification.
- Or Certification in EPA 608 Levels 1 and 2 plus 3 years of experience in the HVAC field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience.
