Physician Empire Seeks Experienced Core Faculty for Internal Medicine Residency Program

Physician Empire is seeking an experienced core faculty member to join our Internal Medicine Residency Program. As a core faculty member, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Academic Leadership: Maintain the content and quality of the applicable curriculum for the residents, ensuring they receive comprehensive training in internal medicine.
- Clinical Experience: Organize and monitor the scheduling of clinical experiences for the residents, ensuring they gain hands-on experience in various aspects of internal medicine.
- Evaluation and Assessment: Complete required resident evaluations, including competency assessments, to ensure residents meet program standards.
- Program Development: Participate in program development, including the creation of new curriculum and the evaluation of existing programs.
- Faculty Development: Participate in faculty development activities, including attendance at educational faculty meetings, journal club, morbidity and mortality conference, and board preparation review courses.
- Grand Rounds and Supervision: Participate in weekly grand rounds and supervise residents in our outpatient clinic, ensuring they receive high-quality education and training.
- Skills and Simulation Curriculum: Participate in the development of skills and simulation curriculum, ensuring residents receive comprehensive training in internal medicine.
- Medical Student Interviews: Participate in medical student interviews and recruiting, helping to identify and attract top talent to our program.
- Board certification in internal medicine
- Strong academic experience and willingness to perform inpatient and outpatient work
- Ability to maintain the content and quality of the applicable curriculum for the residents
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
