Qualifications
Applicants must hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or MD/DO license in Florida, with relevant recent experience in pulmonary patient care.

Additionally, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a respiratory therapist
  • Demonstrated specialized expertise in the assessment and management of cardiopulmonary conditions, such as intensivist, pulmonologist, anesthesiologist, neonatal intensivist, or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).

Commitment to the college's mission of providing instruction to a diverse student body is essential. Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and writing skills are required. Familiarity with learning and assessment theories and their application to teaching methodologies is important.
