Certified Nursing Assistant

Sunset Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a Full-Time and Part-Time basis for Night Shift positions. As a CNA, you will provide direct care and assistance to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct resident care in accordance with care plans, policies, and procedures.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor resident health and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse.
- Ensure residents' rooms are clean, orderly, and safe.
- Assist with dining services and ensure residents receive adequate nutrition and hydration.
- Engage residents in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care activities.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Illinois.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service to residents and their families.
- Compassionate and patient-oriented approach to care.
- Available to work every other weekend & holidays as needed.
Salary: $19.75-$22.00
