Job Type: Full-time

Description: Bay State Community Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitative services to youth with physical, developmental, or emotional challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans designed to improve youths' abilities to perform daily tasks and achieve greater independence.
  • Work closely with licensed occupational therapists to provide rehabilitative services.
  • Maintain patient occupational therapy records by recording youths' progress.
  • Communicate with supervisor and other interdisciplinary team members regarding youths' progress, problems, and plans.
  • Participate in patient-care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or higher in occupational therapy required.
  • Currently licensed as occupational therapy assistant or license eligible in Massachusetts and/or nationally certified.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
