About Us:

Adventist Health Columbia Gorge has been a pillar of the Columbia River Gorge community since its inception in 1901. Our healthcare facilities encompass a 49-bed hospital, outpatient medical offices, home health services, a birthing center, and a variety of other medical services throughout the area. The Dalles is a picturesque town celebrated for its breathtaking views of the Columbia River and its delightful local dining options, making it an excellent location for both living and working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of cafeteria work areas
  • Restock necessary supplies and manage cashier operations
  • Oversee inventory management and dining room supply maintenance
  • Assist in the tray line operations, including stocking and distribution
  • Prepare and serve meals to patients

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred
  • Associate's or Technical Degree or a combination of education and experience is preferred
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred
  • SERV Safe certification or equivalent is preferred

Core Duties:

  • Execute cash register operations and procedures
  • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and utilization of appropriate serving tools
  • Keep cafeteria areas tidy and uphold food quality and presentation standards
  • Prepare meals following standardized recipes and serve in accordance with dietary guidelines
  • Fulfill all competency, licensing, and educational prerequisites
  • Perform additional assigned tasks as required
