Business Services Specialist

The Business Services Specialist I plays a vital role in providing administrative support to the Mid-Columbia Center for Living team. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks, including reception, scheduling, payment processing, word processing, and data entry. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the scheduling of client appointments, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed and filed accurately.
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Prepare and distribute various documents, including reports, letters, and other materials, using word processing software.
- Maintain the confidentiality of client records and ensure the security of all sensitive information.
- Assist with special projects and events as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of office support experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
