Job Summary

As an Emergency Room Technician with CommonSpirit Health, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the clinical team in a fast-paced emergency room setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with patient observation, data collection, and identification of care needs
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide support as needed
  • Assist with patient transport and transfer, ensuring safe and efficient movement
  • Contribute to the maintenance of department equipment and supplies, adhering to safety and risk management standards
  • Support clerical and communication tasks to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program, Medical Assistant program, Certified Nursing Assistant program, Licensed Practical Nurse program, or one year of nursing school
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Registered Nursing Assistant (RNA), or Medical Assistant-Cert (MAC) by the relevant state or national authority
  • Current healthcare provider American Heart Association BLS certification
