Job Highlights
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring for the role of Travel RN - Emergency Room: Night shifts, 7 PM to 7:30 AM, 12x3 schedule, 36 hours per week, every other weekend required. Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks. Qualifications:- Valid nursing license in the respective state
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Proficient in General Emergency Department practices
- Experience in community hospital settings is essential
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems is preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is a plus
Additional Information:
Position/Specialty: ER RN
Shift: 3x12 hour Nights
Patient Ratios: 1:5
Experience Required: 2 Years Preferred
First-time travelers accepted: No
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
On-call Requirements: Not applicable
Floating within scope: No
Local Candidates: Accepted
RTO Restrictions: Limited to 3 consecutive days, with no time off in the first two weeks of the assignment. Travelers must commit to working 3x12 hour shifts before and after approved time off.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours, overtime not accepted
Patient Demographics: All age groups
Unit Systems: Utilizes Pyxis and SBAR
Support Services: Includes interpretation services, IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory systems, and unit secretaries.
Special Requirements:
- Fast-paced environment catering to a diverse patient population with various medical conditions.
- The main ER consists of 19 beds and accommodates behavioral health patients.
- Our nursing team includes RNs, ED technicians, patient sitters, transporters, and peer recovery coaches, maintaining a 4-5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, except in critical situations.
- Our commitment is to deliver exceptional care and ensure a positive healthcare experience for all.
