We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to become a vital part of our Wellness Department.
This role features a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the health and wellness director and assume responsibilities in their absence.
- Provide on-call nursing support as needed.
- Ensure adherence to physician directives for patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate patient care initiatives.
- Oversee medication administration and assist with patient evaluations.
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) when required.
- Promote wellness, disease prevention, and support for student disability accommodations.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic healthcare environment.
- Engage in staff training and adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Experience in Job Corps is advantageous.
- Possession of an active state nursing license and current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Valid driver's license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Three to five years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent multitasking, time management, and communication abilities.
