The Human Resources Specialist will deliver onsite HR assistance and strategic direction at RedSail Technologies, LLC while spearheading various HR projects and initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Process Enhancement: Work collaboratively with the HR team to pinpoint areas for process optimization and effectiveness. Engage in the development and execution of new HR initiatives, including performance management frameworks, employee engagement strategies, and talent acquisition methodologies.
  • HRIS Support: Provide troubleshooting assistance and serve as a backup to the HR/Payroll administrator.
  • Recruitment and Orientation: Facilitate the recruitment process by aiding in job advertisements, evaluating resumes, arranging interviews, and performing background verifications. Coordinate the onboarding of new employees by organizing orientation sessions and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Project Management: Assist HR leaders in the planning, organization, and execution of HR projects. Help in crafting project plans, timelines, and deliverables while monitoring progress and addressing any challenges or risks that may emerge.
  • HR Program Administration: Execute routine tasks necessary for administering human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary actions, disputes, performance management, and training and development.
  • Employee Relations: Address employment-related inquiries from candidates, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Disciplinary Procedures: Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Compliance Maintenance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as best practices; review policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in human resources and employment law.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in human resources is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of leave requirements and legal protections under FMLA, ADA, and other relevant laws.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
  • Completion of specialized training or certification in FMLA/leave administration is a plus.
