About the Role

Central City Concern (CCC) is seeking a highly experienced Medical Director of Primary Care to lead and mentor our primary care clinical staff. As a key member of our leadership team, you will set strategic direction in partnership with senior leaders to deliver high-quality primary care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of primary care clinicians to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve clinical excellence.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve primary care services, including quality improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to set clinical direction and priorities for the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Recruit, train, and develop clinical staff to meet the needs of the organization.
Requirements
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in providing care as a medical provider for underserved individuals in a community clinic setting.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in established leadership capacity within a healthcare setting.
  • License to practice medicine as a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in Oregon.
  • Full prescriptive powers in Oregon with a DEA number.
  • Preferred: addictions medicine certification, Spanish language proficiency, or willingness to develop these skills.
