Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at CapB InfoteK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and business, with experience in software implementation and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, test, and deliver new software requirements and enhancements
  • Provide business process assistance in client delivery planning
  • Manage client delivery and release schedules for projects, changes, and service requests
  • Plan and manage system functional and regression testing schedules
  • Participate in knowledge transfer activities and review client requirements analysis
  • Identify flaws in gap analysis and revert back to Change Management or Project Definition teams
  • Act as a central point of contact for the delivery of specific changes
  • Maintain test environments and install delivery components
  • Correct setup defects and re-test to ensure compliance with supplied specifications
  • Liaise with Project Definition, Change Management, and Technical teams to ensure compliance with client business requirements
  • Document all test results in accordance with agreed standards
  • Conclude testing within agreed timescales and ensure results meet acceptance criteria
  • Request internal sign-off to trigger Release Process
  • Perform release coordination, documentation, version control, and regression testing
  • Provide knowledge transfer to Support Teams or any other team as required
  • Deliver release to clients and provide support during implementation
  • Maintain version control records for all client environments
  • Document new functionality and enhancements introduced to software systems
  • Hand-over functional documentation to the Training & Documentation Team
  • Participate in onsite support or training as per clients' request
  • Work closely with clients and peers to facilitate migration of data to/from software systems
  • Provide 2nd line support for clients and RS2 support team's in line with applicable SLAs
  • Participate in the 24×7 shift to provide client 2nd line support when necessary
  • Liaise with Quality Assurance Team to perform audits and recommend corrective action
  • Train RS2 clients and internal staff on software systems when requested
  • Document all work in accordance with agreed standards
  • Maintain status reports for all tasks on a regular basis
  • Establish a good working relationship with customers and other peers
  • Perform regular updates of Work Sheet Reports
  • Perform any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

  • A degree in Business and IT or an equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience and expertise in RS2 Bankwork Payment Acquiring application
  • Good knowledge of the specific payments industry
  • Proficient in SQL Language
  • Proficient in testing methodologies and test case execution/verification with an eye for details
  • Familiar with standards associated with IT practice nationally and internationally
  • Able to facilitate remote and face-to-face client meetings
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Awareness of the uses of IT within the industry of specialisation
