As a Business Analyst III at AdventHealth, you will serve as a liaison between Sourcing, Pharmacy, Ancillary, and Operational service lines. Your primary responsibility will be to support quality and performance measurement initiatives throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze complex qualitative and quantitative purchase order data, AP data, clinical data, financial and administrative data from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain a robust, working knowledge of many product initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert of key product and service line initiatives.
- Train business analysts and end-users on core analytic and reporting systems.
- Manage complex datasets by identifying, aggregating, cleaning and validating data from multiple sources.
- Use analytical techniques to design, develop, and maintain reports, scorecards, and dashboards.
- Support continuous improvement activities by gathering and analyzing data related to current processes.
- Bachelor's degree with six (6) or more years of relevant experience, preferably in a related field such as business, health care, engineering, information systems, or mathematics discipline.
- OR Master's degree with three (3) or more years of relevant experience, preferably in a related field such as business, health care, engineering, information systems, or mathematics discipline.
- Experience with Epic EHR, particularly reporting tools and the pharmacy application.
- Knowledgeable in contemporary hospital/clinical practice and service, general hospital operations and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge and application of statistical analyses including financial variance and statistical significance.
