Job Summary:

The Clinical Practice Specialist (CPS) is responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients within the defined scope of practice and established protocols. This role involves collaboration with fellow healthcare providers and support staff to ensure seamless patient experiences and satisfaction. The specific responsibilities and benefits may differ across various franchise locations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and precise health assessments, review medical histories, and create detailed medical evaluations, while ordering necessary laboratory and diagnostic tests tailored to the patient's needs.
  • Develop medical and nursing diagnoses and coordinate referrals to appropriate healthcare facilities or community resources.
  • Implement emergency interventions and stabilization techniques in critical situations such as cardiac events, shock, or severe allergic reactions.
  • Analyze patient information to assess status and determine management and treatment plans.
  • Provide education and guidance on health maintenance and promotion to patients and their families.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills with patients, families, and team members.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Board Certification from ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA (1 year of ER/UC experience preferred).
  • Valid Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice, along with DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification as required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously.
