Job Summary

Covenant Health is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, evaluating, and implementing treatment programs for occupational therapy patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
    • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Leadership and Mentorship
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
  • Documentation and Compliance
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
    • Ensure compliance with departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Quality Improvement and Patient Satisfaction
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
    • Monitor and report on patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay current with industry developments and best practices.
    • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in occupational therapy, with at least 3 years in a leadership or specialist role.
  • Licensure
    • Tennessee Occupational Therapy Licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree
    • Advanced degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Certification
    • Professionally recognized certification in Occupational Therapy.
