About the Role
We are currently in search of a dedicated Mine Facility Maintenance Operator to join our team in Middlemount. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various mine site facilities and equipment. The successful candidate will operate on a 7/7-days DIDO roster.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering effective cleaning services across diverse areas such as administrative buildings, break rooms, restrooms, wash facilities, field machinery, and other mine site locations as necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and standards while prioritizing safety on the mine site during all tasks.
- Adhering to equipment operation protocols (SOP), proper handling of cleaning agents, and following manual handling practices.
- Maintaining adherence to Ventia's compliance standards concerning Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ).
- Taking personal responsibility for your safety and being mindful of how your actions affect the safety of others.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in industrial cleaning.
- Possession of Standard 11, a current Coal Board medical, and a Class C Driver's License.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivation and personal drive.
- Full vaccination against Covid-19 (proof required).
