Job Summary:

The Technical Order (TO) Librarian/TO Clerk II is responsible for maintaining technical orders in accordance with Air Force (AF) TO policy. The position requires a strong understanding of AF TO procedures and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the Technical Order Distribution Accounts (TODA) focal point, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of technical data.
  • Performs routine checks as required for assigned technical data in accordance with AF policies.
  • Responsible for the safe handling of classified information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Conducts training as needed for end users within the organizational unit on access to electronic Technical Orders (eTOs).
  • Completes routine self-inspections on assigned technical data inventory and validates TOs for hyperlink, number, functionality, and reports issues.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to successfully complete the TODA/Library Custodian General Course within 180 days of initial assignment.
  • Complete and maintain all required training outlined by the organization.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance or have an active security clearance.
  • Experience with Technical Orders paper and eTO/eTool distribution and management associated with Air Force maintenance.
  • Working experience with DoD in a Military, civilian, or contract position supporting DoD programs.
  • Working knowledge of military industry and standards for product delivery.
  • Must be skilled in the practice of U.S. Air Force and DoD contracting tools, documents, forms, and information systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of TO policies AFPD 20-1/63-1, AFI 63-101/20-101, TO 00-5-1, TO 00-5-3, and TO and all TO's and instructions in their entirety.
  • Requires a self-starter with strong administrative skills.
  • Strong computer skills that require navigating, troubleshooting, and operating government equipment.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Dependable attendance.
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person status.
Working Environment:

This position is located at Tinker AFB and requires working primarily indoors in a standard office environment with a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
