POSITION SUMMARY
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is an integral part of the Browns Fit team, contributing significantly to the overall efficiency and success of the organization by ensuring the upkeep of the facility and managing daily maintenance tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the club's interior spaces
  • Oversee the maintenance of the club's immediate exterior
  • Provide assistance to members and guests as needed
  • Complete daily cleaning tasks as outlined by the general manager
  • Maintain a courteous and supportive demeanor towards all staff, members, and guests
  • Participate in regular departmental meetings
  • Engage in employee training sessions
In addition to the primary responsibilities outlined, each team member adheres to the principles established in our Service Standards, playing a crucial role in the success of Browns Fit. Members of the Operations Team consistently represent the company while on duty and are expected to maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with colleagues, members, and guests. A positive and helpful attitude is essential, as is the willingness to assist other departments when required.


WORK SCHEDULE
This is a part-time role. Your daily hours may vary throughout the week based on the club's needs, staff requirements, and member activities.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong reading and writing abilities
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand. Physical demands include lifting heavy objects, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 45 lbs.
