Job Title: Facilities Technician

At JACK Entertainment, we are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities equipment, including motors, panels, and electrical systems.
  • Responsible for the preparation and implementation of painting, varnishing, and other surface treatments.
  • Refinish, stain, and touch-up woodwork and furniture as needed.
  • Repair and replace light bulbs, electrical circuits, and other equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and repair functions on major system breakdowns, diagnosing trouble and repairing or replacing equipment as needed.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment, including boilers, chillers, pumps, life safety equipment, air handlers, and emergency generators.
  • Perform water-testing treatment for boilers and chillers.
  • Perform daily routine maintenance and perform drywall repair, including mudding, taping, and finishing of walls and ceilings.
  • Responsible for the installation of drop ceiling grid and tile, and the repair and hanging of signs, wallboards, pictures, and mirrors.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate required.
  • Previous experience in mechanical maintenance work and building trades required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Mechanical skills essential.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).
  • Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
