Role Summary

We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Technical Writing Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in assisting with the creation of various technical documents pertinent to the cosmetics field. The intern will engage in crafting comprehensive descriptions of cosmetic ingredient functionalities, elucidating skin biology, assessing the impacts of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals on skin health, summarizing clinical trials, and producing training materials focused on skin actives. This position is ideal for candidates pursuing or having completed studies in life sciences, chemistry, or related disciplines, who possess a keen interest in technical writing within the cosmetics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and Documentation:
    • Perform in-depth research on cosmetic ingredients and their roles.
    • Document fundamental principles of skin biology and the effects of various cosmetic actives.
    • Compile and summarize findings from cosmetic clinical studies.
    • Develop and update claim support documents for new product launches and reformulations.
  • Technical Writing:
    • Create clear, concise, and precise technical documents that explain the functionalities of cosmetic ingredients.
    • Develop thorough explanations of skin biology and the effects of cosmetic actives tailored for diverse audiences.
    • Summarize clinical trial results, emphasizing significant findings and implications.
    • Draft training brochures and claim support materials focusing on skin actives and their benefits.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work collaboratively with R&D and marketing teams to gather essential information and ensure accuracy.
    • Engage with subject matter experts to validate the technical accuracy and relevance of content.
  • Editing and Review:
    • Edit and proofread documents to guarantee clarity, coherence, and technical precision.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
