We are seeking a Health and Wellness Coach to become a vital part of our team, reporting directly to the Regional Fitness Manager. In this position, you will lead the Planet Fitness group program while collaborating with the club manager to improve member retention and boost club revenue. Your responsibilities will encompass designing tailored workout programs, assisting new members with equipment usage, and ensuring the cleanliness of the club.
Essential Skills- Customer Engagement: Interact with members and prospective members in a way that surpasses expectations.
- Active Listening: Listen attentively to staff and members to effectively address their needs.
- Analytical Thinking: Recognize and resolve issues by utilizing available resources.
- Facilitate and implement the group program by conducting fitness consultations and engaging with members.
- Guide members in the proper use of equipment and promote the benefits of our programs.
- Ensure the club remains clean, including the circuit training area and PF 360 zone.
- Provide front desk assistance as necessary, including member check-ins and club tours.
- Maintain records of class attendance to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Stay current with certifications such as Personal Training and CPR.
- Engage in company training initiatives and continuous professional development.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Regular use of hands and arms for communication with members and staff.
- Capability to bend, squat, and lift weights up to 100 pounds.
