We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality care to medically fragile children (birth to 21 years-old) in a daycare-like setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily head-to-toe assessments of pediatric patients to ensure their medical needs are met.
- Provide patient monitoring, feeds, and medical care to ensure the well-being of our young patients.
- Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications and develop effective care plans.
- Educate and update parents on medical treatments and status changes to ensure they are informed and involved in their child's care.
- Ensure the safe transportation of patients to and from medical appointments and other activities.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience working with pediatrics, with a preference for medically fragile experience.
- A compassionate and caring demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A Place of Our Own is a facility that provides quality day nursing services to fragile children birth to 21 years old. We offer transportation to children so they may access our services and receive the care they need.
