Job Description

Nemacolin Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our fine dining restaurant, Fawn and Fable. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing and Inventory Management: Oversee the purchasing and inventory of food and supplies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation, while also considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Staff Management: Lead and motivate a team of culinary professionals to ensure excellent service and food quality.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Financial Management: Manage kitchen expenses and labor costs to maximize profitability and minimize waste.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a culinary leadership role in a high-end restaurant or resort.
  • Culinary Skills: Proficiency in various cooking techniques, including saucier and butchery, as well as excellent knife skills.
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to think critically and adapt to changing situations and priorities.
