Job Title: Release Train Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Release Train Engineer to join our dynamic team at Insight Global. This position is located in Phoenix, with 3 days a week onsite required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical project management and release train engineering, with a proven track record of successfully running Program Increment (PI) planning and managing Agile Release Trains (ARTs). This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic planning to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate PI planning sessions, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Oversee the execution of Agile Release Trains, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues that may impede project success.
  • Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Implement and promote Agile best practices, continuously improving processes and methodologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

This role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 5+ years of experience in technical project management and release train engineering.
