We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in delivering resident-centered activities and programs that promote engagement, socialization, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing a balanced activity program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the community team to develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and schools to support volunteer engagement and community outreach.
  • Document and track resident participation, feedback, and program evaluations to inform future activity planning and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with Sunrise's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the community team in promoting a culture of excellence, respect, and empathy in all interactions with residents, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in senior living or a related field, preferably in activities or program coordination.
  • Ability to lead activities, motivate volunteers, and facilitate small group presentations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve community goals.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and Sunrise applications.
