We are seeking a skilled Avaya Engineer to provide 8x5 support for one of our customers located in the Jacksonville Florida area.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Avaya Aura voice and/or current Avaya messaging solutions, with a focus on call distribution applications and the Avaya Call Management System.

Experience with networking and Switches and/or Routers is a plus, and Avaya Credentials in Core Communications are expected. Progress to secure additional Avaya Credentials is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for Avaya systems and applications
  • Perform MACD work and application patching
  • Offer Avaya knowledge to the customer when requested
  • Provide technology counsel to the customer
  • Support and maintain Avaya voice solutions
Requirements:
  • Active ACIS Cert
  • Active ACSS Cert
  • Ability to successfully support and juggle priorities
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Windows operating system and associated software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Professional appearance
  • Excellent attendance and demonstrated history of being on time
  • Ability to adapt and willingness to learn new things
