Dock Worker

US Logistics Solutions is in search of dedicated and career-focused individuals to engage in full-time roles within our dynamic shipping and dock operations. Our dock workers play a crucial role in the efficient loading and unloading of freight from our transport vehicles, ensuring safety and timeliness in every task. This position involves frequent physical activity, including lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying freight. Comprehensive training and all necessary materials will be provided for successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload freight from straight trucks and/or 53 ft. commercial trailers
  • Utilize handheld scanners to effectively track and manage freight within our distribution system
  • Label boxes accurately and prepare freight for dispatch
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading practices are followed
  • Verify freight documentation and condition to meet quality standards
  • Regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Perform additional duties as required
