Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt and effective technical assistance to users, addressing hardware and software challenges, and responding to user queries.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of computer hardware, such as desktops, laptops, printers, and networking devices.
- Install, configure, and upgrade software applications to ensure optimal performance and security measures.
- Establish and manage network connections, resolving connectivity issues while safeguarding data integrity.
- Implement and uphold IT security protocols, monitor for potential security threats, and react to incidents as necessary.
- Conduct regular data backups and formulate data recovery strategies to mitigate system failures or data loss.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and support requests.
- Provide training and support to staff on software and hardware usage, along with best practices for IT security.
- Engage in the planning and execution of IT system upgrades, expansions, and procurement processes.
- Monitor IT systems for performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) responsibilities, including the configuration and security of mobile devices, enforcing security policies, and ensuring compliance with MDM standards.
- Collaborate with external vendors to enhance IT policies and procedures.
- Support wireless network management and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and update active directory password security protocols in accordance with organizational hierarchy.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Demonstrated experience in providing IT support within a professional environment.
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and protocols.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft IT Professional) are advantageous.
- Availability for weekends and evenings is essential.
- Experience with HRIS/CRM systems is a plus, such as Zoho, QuickBooks, or Viventium.
