Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Manager to join our team at the University of Louisville. This is a key leadership role that will provide strategic and operational support to the Vice President of External Relations and Communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic planning and operational support to the Vice President of External Relations and Communications.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, faculty, staff, and external partners.
  • Coordinate and execute events, meetings, and other activities as needed.
  • Manage and oversee the work of assigned personnel.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Vice President of External Relations and Communications.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and eight (8) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
