Job Summary:

The Inmate Services Coordinator is responsible for managing inmate services, including hobby, library/law library, photo shop, beauty shop, canteen, garden, and all inmate workers. This role requires balancing the services offered with the need for safety and security, while supervising and directing inmate workers within the areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inmate services, including hobby, library/law library, photo shop, beauty shop, canteen, garden, and all inmate workers.
  • Balance services offered with the need for safety and security.
  • Supervise and direct inmate workers within areas of responsibility.
  • Assist in developing inmate job profiles, coordinate recruitment and selection of inmate workers, ensure monthly performance evaluations, and verify/approve timesheets for inmate workers.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma.
  • 1 or more years of job-related work experience, or 2 years of college in a related field of study such as Human Services, Liberal Studies, Psychology, etc.
  • Experience using Microsoft computer software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver's License.
