Job Title: Registered Nurse

Join the State of Montana as a Registered Nurse in a correctional facility setting.

Job Overview

This position provides medical management services to inmates at the Montana Women's Prison. The successful candidate will be responsible for initial screening/assessment, triage and appropriate referral, daily sick call, medication administration, med-surge, psych, urgent/emergent, continuous quality improvement, chronic care, infection control, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical management services to inmates, including initial screening/assessment, triage and appropriate referral, daily sick call, medication administration, med-surge, psych, urgent/emergent, continuous quality improvement, chronic care, infection control, and discharge planning.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to patients with varying levels of acuity.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for inmates.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • A college degree in Nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as an RN in the state of Montana.
