Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to lead our team and drive guest satisfaction. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for motivating and coaching our team members to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and safe restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and lead by example, setting the tone for a positive and productive work environment.
  • Coach and Develop Team Members: Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to team members to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Drive Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that every guest has a positive experience, from greeting them at the door to serving them their meal.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure that the restaurant is clean, safe, and well-maintained, meeting or exceeding company standards.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Monitor and manage inventory and supplies to ensure that we have what we need to deliver exceptional service.
  • Operate Point of Sale System: Accurately operate the point of sale system, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Manage Scheduling and Timekeeping: Manage scheduling and timekeeping for team members, ensuring that we have adequate coverage and that team members are aware of their schedules.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with team members, guests, and management to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned.
Requirements
  • Previous Management or Leadership Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 55 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the job.
